Self-exclusion

In Ontario, BetGuard (1-833-776-7171) lets you opt out of all regulated online gambling sites. It does not cover offshore casinos like those on this site: there you must request self-exclusion from each casino separately, and several of our partners only offer short breaks (Winberry: 7, 14 or 30 days; SpinAway: 24 hours to 30 days) with longer exclusions on request to support.

Limits that work on a small budget

  • Set a deposit limit in your account before the first deposit.
  • Decide the session length in advance and use the casino’s reality-check or session reminder if it has one.
  • Never deposit again to “win back” losses.
  • Use prepaid vouchers if you want a hard cap.

Warning signs

Spending more than planned, borrowing to gamble, hiding gambling from people close to you, or feeling anxious when not playing. If any sounds familiar, call one of the lines above.
